Welcome to Enlightened Perl

Enlightened Perl is a membership organization which is built around a movement within the Perl community. Its goals are complementary to the Perl Foundation. Specifically, we support certain Perl development efforts that ensure perl's future as an enterprise-grade development platform.

  • The Enlightened Perl Ortganisation has officially taken over the Send-A-Newbie program which seeks to involve new people to Perl conferences by sponsoring their attendance. The program will be managed by Rosellyne Thompson and Mark Keating on behalf of the EPO.
  • Piers Cawley is hard at work on Proposal Four from the first round of Document Bounties One, whereas Jess Robinson is working on Proposal Five. See the Grants in Progress page for more information
